VMWare Player
A "free" (as in beer) virtual machine.
For Windows and Linux users, you can download the VMWare virtual machine player that will enable you to use the class website virtual machine (to be passed out in class). You will need to fill out a registration form before you can download the software. Use your best judgment as to what to fill into the required fields for the registration form. (Ask in class if you have any questions.)

For Mac users, I'm sorry but you can either install Plone directly on your machine (preferred, but not for the young) or get a copy of VMWare Fusion at the Courgar Byte store for $40. Incidentally, the installation of Plone for the Mac is easy and realatively foolproof.
